The Pelican™ Protector Case 1650 is a Protector series case with interior dimensions of 28.57" x 17.52" x 10.65", exterior dimensions of 31.59" x 20.47" x 12.45", a base/lid depth of 8.84" / 1.81", and a weight of 24.03 lbs (28.06 lbs with foam).
The original case introduced over 45 years ago has since evolved into the global standard for equipment protection. The Protector Case series is designed to survive and trusted to travel to the harshest environments on earth. The Pelican 1650 Protector Case provides military-grade protection for a wide variety of gear, from camera equipment to camping kits. It is available with foam, without foam, padded dividers, or TrekPak dividers.
Features include retractable extension trolley handle; 4 strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings; easy open double-throw latches; open cell core with solid wall design - strong, light weight; o-ring seal. It also offers 4 wheels, an extendable handle, a rated temperature range of -40°F to 190°F, about 181 lbs of buoyancy. The 1650 is tested to IP67 / MIL C-4150J / Def Stan 81-41 / ATA 300.
