The Pelican™ Protector Case 1780 is a Protector series case with interior dimensions of 41.12" x 21.54" x 14.88", exterior dimensions of 44.9" x 25.32" x 16.5", a base/lid depth of 7.3" / 7.58", and a weight of 38.4 lbs (49 lbs with foam).

Against the extreme cold of the arctic or the heat of battle, Pelican cases have survived.Made in the USA, these tough cases are designed with an automatic purge valve, that equalizes air pressure, a watertight silicone O-ring lid, over-molded rubber handles and stainless steel hardware.
Features include the new class of XXL Pelican Transport Cases; 50/50 lid-to-base ratio for easy loading; completely detachable lid for full access; watertight, crushproof, and dustproof; easy open double-throw latches. It also offers 4 wheels, a rated temperature range of -40°F to 190°F, about 500 lbs of buoyancy. The 1780 is tested to Def Stan 81-41.
