Built for reliable protection, the Pelican™ Protector Case 550 measures 47.57" x 24.07" x 17.68" inside and 51.05" x 27.54" x 22.79" outside, a base/lid depth of 14.49" / 3.19", weighing 79.2 lbs (95 lbs with foam).
With over 11 cubic feet (0.311 cubic meters) of space, you can store, protect, and move large loads in seconds. The reinforced honeycomb deck and lid construction provide support for heavy equipment, or multiple stacking on a 463L pallet. Opening the case at any altitude is not a problem- the dual integrated automatic pressure equalization valves keep moisture out and prevent vacuum lock, and the double wide grip makes lifting easy. With an IP55 certification, the 0550 Transport Case will protect your gear against rain and dirt. The 0550 Transport Case: Built to move-by forklift, by wheel, by hand.
Features include over 11ft3 (.311m3) of storage space; fit six 0550 Cases per 463L military pallet, 18 when stacked!; four extra-deep base-to-lid locking cleats ensure maximum stacking stability; optional Pallet Riser Kit; optional Caster Wheel Kit complete with brakes. It also offers a rated temperature range of -40°F to 190°F, about 820 lbs of buoyancy. The 550 is tested to Zone 20.
Through TacRugged, the 550 can be fitted with custom-cut foam, hardware, coatings, and mission-ready options.
